Reduce your tackle losses with this simple but effective rotten bottom clips. To use just fasten the closed end to the clip on the end of your trace, tie the fishing weight onto the same clip via a short length of weaker monofilament fishing line and then hang the lead on the open end of the RBC. The RBC then holds the during the cast but releases it when the rig hits the sea leaving the lead attached to the rig by just the weaker monofilament fishing line. If the fishing weight snags the sea bed the weak line will part allowing you to safetly retrieve your fishing rig and hopefully a fish.
